Zoe Kravitz Joins ‘Harry Potter’ Spinoff HBR Media Team August 11, 2016 Film Zoe Kravitz is set to star in the Warner Bros Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Kravitz will join an all-star cast including Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller and Alison Sudol. The film is set in New York 70 years before the events in the Harry Potter books and film series. It revolves around Newt Scamander (Redmayne), a Magizoologist who ventures into a secret community of witches and wizards as he attempts to document magical creatures. His book is eventually used at Hogwarts, where Harry Potter attends school. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to be released in theaters on November 16th, and and a sequel is already scheduled to premiere on November 16th, 2018. Kravitz has starred in major motion picture films such as No Reservations, The Brave One, X-Men: First Class, Dope, and Yelling to the Sky. Last year, she starred in Mad Max: Fury Road, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, and recently returned to her role as Christina in The Divergent Series: Allegiant, the third movie in the franchise. Kravitz is also set to star opposite Kate McKinnon and Scarlett Johansson in the comedy Rock That Body, and will be starring in feature thriller, Gemini, alongside John Cho. Comments comments
