Legendary actress Whoopi Goldberg has officially joined Tiffany Haddish in the upcoming Tyler Perry film The List.  This film will serve as a reunion between Goldberg and Perry as Goldberg starred in his 2010 drama For Colored Girls.

The List is revolved around a woman (Haddish) who is released from prison and is reunited with her sister, who is forced to accept that she might be getting “catfished” by an online boyfriend.

This film will mark the first time that Goldberg has appeared in a studio feature film since appearing in the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Chris Rock’s Top Five.

The List will be released in theaters on November 2.

Whoopi Goldberg is one of the handful of few people to be known as an EGOT winner. For those who aren’t familiar with the phrase made popular by 30 Rock, that’s Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winner. She has received two Daytime Emmys, one for The View and one for Beyond Tara: The Extraordinary Life of Hattie McDaniel. Her Grammy win was for her comedy recording Whoopi Goldberg: Original Broadway Show Recording, and she won an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Ghost. Last but certainly not the least, Goldberg a Best Musical Tony for Thoroughly Modern Millie.
