According to the official synopsis, Noise is a visually stunning short film that revolves around a hearing impaired teen who is offered the opportunity of a lifetime, and she must come to terms with the fact that her world will never be the same.

Stephens is the founder of a new media screenwriting label based in Atlanta, GA called Damn Write Originals.  The indie screenwriting label serves as a vehicle to drive stories that specifically ascend Women & People of Color, and her team is the creative cohort behind popular projects such as Cream X Coffee, Suga Water, Forced Entry, and more.

In addition to building a budding media powerhouse, Stephens is an award-winning screenwriter/filmmaker who is devoted to telling authentic and purposeful stories.  Her work has been recognized at film festivals across the nation including; American Black Film Festival, Bronze Lens Film Festival, Black Web Fest, Black Woman’s Film Festival and more.
