Vivica Fox is launching a new Lifetime series titled Vivica’s Black Magic on January 4.
Vivica’s Black Magic revolves around her search as she selects a lucky group of hot men for her male exotic revue live male-dancer show, Black Magic. Black Magic aims to provide the ultimate girls’ night out, and the show will eventually head to Las Vegas. The series, produced by Propagate, features Fox and two of her friends auditioning hundreds of hunks and winnowing the group down to fill just a handful of spots.
The guys competing in the competition include Andrew “Penetration” Williams, a business owner and single dad from Compton, California, and Greg “White Chocolate” Jackson, whose father was a stripper.
Fox has had guest star roles on Law & Order, Drop Dead Diva, Melissa & Joey and Raising Hope. She was a regular on the syndicated series Mr. Box Office alongside Bill Bellamy. Most recently she was cast as Cookie Lyon’s sister in the second season of the Fox series, Empire. Last month, she reprised her Independence Day role in Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day: Resurgence, and was recently cast to star in the independent film Kinky written and directed by Jean Claude LaMarre. Fox will also star in the sci-fi film Crossbreed as the President of the United States, which will be the first time a black woman has played a U.S. president in a live-action film.
Check out the interview above, and be sure to catch this series on Lifetime Wednesday, January 4, at 10 p.m. ET.
