Aja Naomi King (The Birth of a Nation, How to Get Away With Murder) has been cast in Untouchable, a film from The Weinstein Company. A remake of the 2011 French Film, The Intouchables, Untouchable will also star Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, Nicole Kidman, and Genevieve Angelson.

The film is directed by Neil Burger, written by Jon Hartmere and produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch. The Executive Producers are Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein, and G. Mac Brown.

King is best-known for her portrayal as Michaela Pratt in Shondaland’s legal drama, How to Get Away With Murder, for which she received an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2015. In 2016, she portrayed Cherry Turner in the historical Nat Turner revolt film, The Birth of a Nation.
