WATCH: Tiffany Haddish Talks About Breaking into the Comedy Industry on ‘The View’

Tiffany Haddish has become one of the most sought-after comedic talents in television and film, and is now promoting her book The Last Black Unicorn.

She recently visited the set of The View where she talks about breaking into the comedy industry, and how Kevin Hart is her “comedy angel.”  Check out the clip above!

Haddish starred on The Carmichael Show, as well as the Universal Pictures hit film Girls Trip (mentioned above), alongside Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Regina Hall. Up next, she will be starring alongside Tracy Morgan in his upcoming comedy series The Last OG, created and executive-produced by Tracy Morgan and Jordan Peele.

Her other film credits include Meet the Spartans,Keanu, Racing for Time, and The Janky Promoters. Her television credits include recurring roles on If Loving You Is Wrong,Real Husbands of Hollywood, and New Girl.  She was an early standout since first appearing on Def Comedy Jam, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes? and Comedy Central’s Reality Bites, and will soon be joining Kevin Hart and Yvonne Orji in the upcoming comedy Night School.  Haddish is also set to star in  New Line’s upcoming film The Kitchen, and in Universal’s upcoming film The Temp.
