Tiffany Haddish is on a role and has signed a first-look deal with HBO!

The two-year pact with Haddish and her She Ready production company comes on the heels of a breakout year for the comic, who won a New York Film Critics Circle best supporting actress award for her performance in 2017’s “Girls Trip.” Her book “The Last Black Unicorn,” released last month by Gallery Books, was named a New York Times best seller. Her new stand-up special Tiffany Haddish: She Ready! premiered on Showtime last year, and Haddish recently announced 2018 dates for her new stand-up tour.

Haddish has become one of the most sought-after comedic talents in television and film.  She recently starred on The Carmichael Show, as well as the Universal Pictures hit film Girls Trip, alongside Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Regina Hall. Up next, she will be starring alongside Tracy Morgan in his upcoming comedy series The Last OG, created and executive-produced by Tracy Morgan and Jordan Peele.

Her other film credits include Meet the Spartans, Keanu, Racing for Time, and The Janky Promoters. Her television credits include recurring roles on If Loving You Is Wrong,Real Husbands of Hollywood, and New Girl.  She was an early standout since first appearing on Def Comedy Jam, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes? and Comedy Central’s Reality Bites, and will soon be joining Kevin Hart and Yvonne Orji in the upcoming comedy Night School set to premiere in September.  Haddish is also set to star in  New Line’s upcoming film The Kitchen, Universal’s upcoming film The Temp, and she will be starring opposite Tracy Morgan in TBS’ The Last OG, which premieres in April.  The comic also has Limited Partners in development at Paramount, and is set to star in and serve as an exec producer on the project. She recently wrapped production on The Oath alongside Ike Barinholtz.
