Fox’s 10-hour event series, Shots Fired will premiere at the upcoming 2017 Sundance Film Festival! Helmed by Executive Producers Gina Prince Bythewood, Reggie Rock Bythewood, Brian Grazier and Francie Calfo, the series is a thorough examination of the dangerous aftermath of two racially-charged shootings in a small Southern town.

Given the climate of race-relations surrounding the police force and the political atmosphere, Shots Fired is sure to cause a lot of rumblings and conversation. For its first series debut at Sundance on January 25, Fox will screen two episodes at the Marc theater. A panel discussion will follow with the Executive Producers as well as cast members, Sanaa Lathan, Stephan James, Mack Wilds, and Aisha Hinds.

Sundance has been incorporating television in a strong way as broadcast, cable, and streaming series will be seeking early buzz at the fest, so this will be a great avenue for Gina and the cast/crew of the highly-anticipated tv show!

Shots Fired is scheduled to premiere this spring, on Wednesday, March 22 at 8PM.
