Shondaland has tapped Sandie Bailey to join her growing slate as the Director of Branding and Engagement.  In addition to Bailey, Sara Fischer joins as the Head of Production and Kristen Andersen joins as VP Marketing and Communications.  This marks the first time that Shondaland has had in-house executives in these areas.

“Each of these women has truly made a huge impact on the success of our shows over the last several years.  As Shondaland continues to expand, I could not be more excited to officially welcome them into the family, where I know they will continue to help invent and invest in our brand.” – Shonda Rhimes

All three women have previous ties to Shondaland. Fischer comes from ABC Studios where she managed production on the Shondaland shows; Anderson was previously at ABC where she was a publicist on shows including “Scandal” and “How To Get Away With Murder;” and Bailey worked on “Scandal” in the set-decorating department.

As Director of Branding and Engagement, Bailey will manage the overall Shondaland brand. She will manage the overall Shondaland brand, overseeing all events and social media engagement for the company, plus the design, development and execution of all Shondaland merchandise.

Bailey spent the past five years working in the set-decorating department on Scandal.  She has over 20 years of experience in event management and interior decorating for high-profile clients, and has executed events including fundraisers for presidential candidates and the President of the United States.
