It’s been almost a decade since Pam Grier regularly appeared in a television series since The L Word; however, she is still going strong after an almost 50 year television and film career.   Now, the star actress is back as a member of the cast in Fox’s latest comedy pilot, Bless This Mess.

The pilot revolves around a couple who moved to Nebraska from New York City, but their reality isn’t what they expected. Grier plays Constance Terry, a Sheriff and store owner who’s the hub of the town’s gossip. Christina Offley plays as Constance’s daughter Cherry Terry, a teenager whose secret creativity and smarts are misunderstood in their town.

Other members of the cast include Lake Bell (also writer and director), Dax Shepard, Ed Begley Jr., JT Neal and Christina Offley.

Grier became known in the early 1970s for starring in a string of women in prison and blaxploitation films such as The Big Bird Cage, Coffy, Foxy Brown, and Sheba, Baby. She starred in Quentin Tarantino’s film Jackie Brown, and received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. Grier is also known for her work on television for six seasons, she portrayed Kate ‘Kit’ Porter on the television series The L Word, and received an Emmy nomination for her work in the animated program Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child.

We are excited and ready to see Grier back on television!
