The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and Tyler Perry are continuing their longstanding successful relationship with another big episodic order under their exclusive agreement!

The network has provided a 38-episode order for a new comedy series, The Paynes, a spinoff from his popular TBS family sitcom, House of Payne, starring LaVan Davis and Cassi Davis, from the original series. This will be the second spinoff of the show, following Meet The Browns, which also aired on TBS. The spinoff will follows the Paynes as they try to enjoy their Florida retirement only to get roped into a real estate deal that drastically turns their lives around.

OWN has also picked up 44 additional episodes of the wealthy vs. poor entanglement, The Haves and the Have Nots, starring Tika Sumpter and Crystal R. Fox , which was the first breakout hit for the network that ushered in scripted programming. Rounding out the drama section is an 18-episode order of the relationship topsy-turvy that is If Loving You Is Wrong, starring Edwina Findley, Amanda Clayton, Heather Hemmens, Zulay Henao, and April Parker Jones.

OWN’s existing comedy series, the family-owned restaurant surrounding Love Thy Neighbor, starring Patrice Lovely and Kendra C. Johnson and the dating/marriage insight of For Better or Worse starring Tasha Smith and Crystle Stewart, will end their runs after this upcoming season and will be moving to Saturday nights.

The Paynes, The Haves and the Have Nots, If Loving You is Wrong, Love Thy Neighbor and For Better or Worse are created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry and produced for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios.
