Nafessa Williams (Twin Peaks) has been added to the second season of the CBS medical drama Code Black alongside Noah Gray-Cabey (Heroes: Reborn) and Emily Tyra (Flesh and Bone).

“We conducted a wide search for actors to play our newest young residents and these three burst to the top.” – Michael Seitzman, Code Black, Creator/Executive Producer

The three new cast members will portray new residents at the ER of Angels Memorial Hospital. Williams, Gray-Cabey, and Tyra will be joining Marcia Gay Harden and newly promoted regulars Boris Kodjoe, Rob Lowe, and Jillian Murray. The show is expected to return to CBS on Sept. 28 at 10pm.

Williams has appeared on series’ such as Survivor’s Remorse, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and the Lifetime Television movie, Whitney. She can be seen next on the Showtime pilot Twin Peaks.
