Michelle Obama is set to make a historical final talk show appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon as the sitting FLOTUS. The Fallon sit-down will occur on Jan. 11, the day after President Barack Obama’s farewell speech in Chicago.

This will be Mrs. Obama’s third appearance on The Tonight Show, previously appearing on Fallon’s infamous “Ew!” sketch comedy segment to show off her dance skills for, “The Evolution of Mom Dancing.”

Mrs. Obama has been frequenting an exciting and bittersweet “farewell tour” of sorts, from late-night TV, with a pit-stop at daytime TV, and over to primetime TV. CBS recently landed the First Lady’s final one-on-one interview, conducted by Oprah Winfrey.

Michelle Obama’s other visits to The Tonight Show provided significant ratings bumps, and President Barack Obama aided in the show’s best Thursday metered market ratings since Fallon’s first week as host two years ago.
