Lately, there has been a number of television series getting reboots from Fear Factor to Love Connection, as well as films like The Predator and Halloween.  For your newest nostalgia fix, it has been announced that the 2000 film, Charlie’s Angels, based on the 1970s TV show, will be getting its latest reboot.

In 2017, there were rumors that Lupita Nyong’o and Kristen Stewart were being considered for lead roles and it was secured that Elizabeth Banks signed on to direct and produce the film.  Now, according to POPSUGAR, the film will star Nyong’o, Stewart, and Naomi Scott. There isn’t word of which character the ladies will play, though, it is known that Banks will also act in the film as Bosley.

The news all comes with the films latest rumor that Nyong’o will play the lead role. Just this year, Nyong’o stared in the blockbuster hit, Black Panther.

The reboot is slated to hit theaters on June 7, 2019!
