Laura Harrier has joined the cast of upcoming HBO Film Fahrenheit 451.  She will join the cast alongside Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon, Soufia Boutella, and Lily Singh.

Fahrenheit 451 is an adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s novel that depicts a future where media is an opiate, history is outlawed and “firemen” burn books. Young fireman Montag (Jordan) forsakes his world, battles his mentor Beatty (Shannon) and struggles to regain his humanity. Harrier will play Millie, Montag’s social media-immersed wife whose consumption of all things digital results in a disconnected marriage.

There is no word yet on a premiere date; however, we will stay on top of the latest news pertaining to this film.  Harrier is set to star in the upcoming film Spider-Man Homecoming which opens July 7.  She is also known for her appearances in One Life to Live, Unforgettable, 4th Man Out, and Galyntine.
