Latarsha Rose (The Hunger Games) has booked a series-regular role in NBC’s untitled medical drama from Warren Leight (Law & Order), Paul Haggis and Sony TV!
Written/executive produced by Leight and directed/exec produced by Charles McDougall, the project is described, via Deadline, as a real-time “extreme event” medical series that follows the nurses and doctors of an understaffed Brooklyn hospital that becomes the borough’s last viable trauma center after a catastrophic hurricane wreaks havoc on the city. Rose will play Audra, a frontline nurse with an attitude.
Latarsha Rose is best known for her role as Portia in 2012’s The Hunger Games and portraying Dr. Lisa Hudson in Being Mary Jane. Her TV credits include Law & Order, CSI: NY, Bones, CSI: Miami, All My Children, and The Cape, and Grey’s Anatomy. She’s had recurring roles in Windfall and Swingtown.
This is great news for Rose and we’re sure she’ll be a great addition to such an intriguing project!
