Kirby Howell-Baptiste (Downward Dog) has been set as the leads in Girls Code (working title), a half-hour women-in-the-workplace comedy.  Howell-Baptiste joins Sophia Di Martino (Flowers) and Hayley Magnus (The Dressmaker), Andy Buckley (The Office), and Rene Gube (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend).

Written by Rosenstock with Feig directing, the pilot follows the odd couple partnership between two former MIT lab partners – Wendy (Di Martino), a brazen, self-centered tech CEO and Angela (Howell-Baptiste), a community-building social entrepreneur – who must try to overcome their many issues and unfavorable history with each other in order to run a groundbreaking, all-female tech incubator.

Kirby Howell-Baptiste is an actor and writer who proudly hails from North London.  Since moving to Los Angeles, Kirby has appeared in the Showtime series House of Lies, ICF Comedy Bang! Bang!, and is a recurring character on the Judd Apatow/Lesley Arfin/Paul Rust show, LOVE that is currently streaming on Netflix. She also starred as a series regular in the ABC show Downward Dog, and currently recurs on Barry.
