Janine Sherman Barrois, Claws executive producer/showrunner, has officially signed an exclusive multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. Under the new agreement, Sherman Barrois will continue to run Claws as well as develop new projects for the studio.

Sherman Barrois joined Claws last year under her previous overall deal at WBTV.  Claws revolves around a Florida nail salon and stars Niecy Nash and Carrie Preston.  The series was an instant hit for TNT, and quickly became its highest rated series in the adults 18-49 demographic.

Sherman Barrois is a graduate of the Warner Bros. Writers’ Workshop, and was a longtime writer and executive producer on medical series Third Watch and ER before joining Criminal Minds.  She also sold crime dramas Darkness Falls and Jigsaw to CBS in 2012 and 2013.  Sherman Barrois also wrote and directed the short film French Fries, for Refinery29 Shatterbox.

Season 2 of Claws premieres June 10!
