You may remember Amanda Seales as the hilariously bougie Tiffany, who appeared in four episodes of HBO’s Insecure. Well, Tiffany fans can rejoice as Deadline has announced that Amanda Seales will be reprising her role as a series regular for Season 2!

Created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, Insecure follows the friendship of two modern-day Black women, Issa (Rae) and Molly (Yvonne Orji) and showcases their experiences ranging from romantic to career. Tiffany is the college friend of Issa and Molly and truly believes she serves as the “perfect” version of a Black woman, via her PR career and envied relationship with her husband, Derek (Wade Allain-Marcus).

Seales’ live comedy social commentary show, Smart, Funny & Black, was recently ordered to pilot by TruTV. She has a relationship with TruTv, as the host of their pop-culture show Greatest Ever, which is filming its second season. Seales also hosts Empire After Show on Facebook Live.

Tiffany is definitely a stand-out character and a great antithesis to Issa, so this is great for Seales, and we look forward to seeing more of her on the second season!
