Seasoned writer-producer Diane Ademu-John has signed a multi-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV . Under the  pact, she recently joined the Fox drama Empire as co-executive producer. In addition to this new role, she will develop her own projects under the 20th Century Fox banner.

Ademu-John is a graduate of the University of London as well as a graduate of Georgetown University. She got her start in the entertainment industry working on the popular medical drama Crossing Jordan as a story editor and writer from 2001 to 2003.  Over the years, she has worked on shows such as ABC’s Body of Proof and NBC/CBS’s Medium, and was most recently an executive producer on the CW/Warner Bros. TV drama series The Originals.  Ademu-John currently has a feature film script Diver that is currently in development at Intrepid Pictures with Mike Flanagan (Oculus) attached to direct.
