The 44th annual Daytime Emmy Award nominations were recently announced on today’s episode of CBS’s The Talk and there are definitely Black women shining throughout the list!

Anna Maria Horsford received an Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series nomination for her portrayal as Vivian in The Bold and the Beautiful. Reign Edwards scored an Outstanding Younger Actress In A Drama Series nomination for her role as Nicole in The Bold and the Beautiful.

Daytime talk show The Talk (CBS), featuring Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler, and The View (ABC) featuring Whoopi Goldberg were each nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment.  ABC’s The Chew, featuring Carla Hall landed an Outstanding Talk Show/Informative nomination.

The 2017 Daytime Emmys will be held Sunday, April 30 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, with the Creative Arts ceremony announced on the Friday prior. Check out the Actor/Actress and Onscreen Talent Nominations below, with the complete list to come soon!
