Condola Rashad (Billions), is set to star as the lead in independent film Bikini, directed and written by Milcho Manchevsk (Spirt Award winner).

Bikini is described as a charismatic, mercurial and troubled former Marine who returns from Iraq and inadvertently becomes the center of a documentary film while she tries to integrate herself back in society as well as regain custody of her young daughter.

Bikini also stars Will Janowitz (The Night Of), Sarah Goldberg (Barry), and newcomer Sathya Sridharan.

Rashad is the daughter of actress Phylicia Rashad, and was nominated for a Tony for Best-featured Actress in a Play for her performance in Stick Fly.  She starred in the 2012 remake of Steel Magnolias as Queen Latifah’s daughter, and appeared on Broadway in The Trip to Bountiful alongside Cicely Tyson.  Rashad currently stars as Kate Sacher in the Showtime series Billions opposite Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti, and can be seen next in the Sony movie Money Monster, with George Clooney, directed by Jodie Foster.  She can also can be seen in Sundance feature titled Complete Unknown starring Rachel Weisz and Michal Shannon which premiered at Sundance and was will be released via Amazon fall 2016.
