ABC confirmed that after seven seasons, The Chew has been canceled.

The Chew was groundbreaking when it debuted seven years ago as a food show that’s also a talk show; however, fans adored the series mainly because of the conversation and dialogue between Carla Hall and her co-hosts Clinton Kelly and Michael Symon.  This trio made audience members nation wide want to join and hang out with all of them.

The series will be replaced by a third hour of Good Morning America.

“I am so grateful for all the times and incredible friends I have made over the past seven years on @thechew,” Carla Hall wrote. “It has truly been an amazing ride.”

Hall is a chef and a prolific cookbook author in addition to being a TV host. Whatever she does next, I hope to be able to keep watching her on TV, because I’d watch Carla Hall do pretty much anything. She’s smart, funny, and stylish, and she’s amazing on camera. Before Hall became a cook she actually studied to be an actress, and she recently guest-starred on General Hospital and voiced a character on BoJack Horseman. It will be exciting to see what she gets into next!
