Ava DuVernay has accumulated an array of accolades in association with her name over the past year, and now she can add “World’s Greatest Leader” to the prominent list! She has been named one of Fortune magazine’s “World’s Greatest Leaders!

Now in its fourth year, the list highlights people around the world who “excel at leading effectively in today’s environment.” According to Fortune, this includes offering hope, bringing people physically together, and building bridges.

DuVernay is number 6 on the list, which was released this past Thursday. The magazine praises her for continuing “to draw attention to Hollywood’s need for better representation of women and minorities both in front of, and behind, the camera.” DuVernay’s complete Fortune profile is here.

Other Black leaders on the list include basketball player LeBron James (at No. 11), activist Bryan Stevenson (No. 16), Zimbabwean businessman Strive Masiyiwa (No. 33), activist Tamika Mallory (No. 34, along with the other organizers of the Women’s March), and novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (No. 42).
