Senegalese-American Actress Anna Diop will star alongside Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in the upcoming social thriller US, Jordan Peele’s highly-anticipated follow-up to Get Out.

The new thriller is written and directed by Peele and is being produced via Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions. Peele is a producer alongside Sean McKittrick and Jason Blum, as well as Ian Cooper.  Plot details for US are scarce and Diop’s role is yet to be revealed, but the film is set for a March 15, 2019 release date under Universal.

Diop made her television debut in 2006, appearing on Everybody Hates Chris. In the following years, she guest starred on Lincoln Heights, Whitney, and Touch. In film, Diop had a role opposite Jennifer Jason Leigh in The Moment. In 2015, she appeared in the ABC thriller series Quantico and was cast in a recurring role on the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series, Greenleaf. In 2016, Diop was cast as a series regular in the Fox series 24: Legacy, and in 2017, she was cast as the alien superheroine in DC’s live action Titans series for their digital service, premiering in 2018.
